- When you are exercising be aware of your body.
- Don’t hurry
- Breathe regularly, be conscious of any problems you may be having (i.e. shortness of breathe, dizziness, extreme pain). REPORT THESE TO YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.
- Fatigue; rest a few minutes, and start again, slowly.
- Muscle cramps or pain; Stop, sit, rub gently, and stretch.
WHEN IS IT TO MUCH?
If you are still having pain and swollen joints after exercising (more than 2 hours), you have probably over done it. DON’T force it. Ice or heat. Rest. Don’t let this stop you from exercising the following day, just decrease the amount and the intensity, be gentler in your approach.
