WHAT IS POLE WALKING?
Pole Walking (also called Nordic Pole Walking or Ski Walking) is an exercise that uses two poles designed to work the upper body while you walk. The poles provide stability and confidence that helps you achieve a full body work out.
It is not difficult to learn. The technique is easy to modify to accommodate physical limitations due to arthritis. It is fun and it is just another way to live well with arthritis.
